The district is currently accepting applications for the following committees: Communications Advisory Council, Community Education Services Board, District Equity Advisory Council, Gifted Advisory, Go Green, and the Technology Advisory Task Force. Spring into Reading: Read-A-Thon News

Cornelia's third annual Spring Into Reading celebration was on May 3! The Reading Rocks Wrap Up Party featured an ice cream social and basket raffle. Author Lauren Stringer gave a presentation and signed books. The results of the Read-a-Thon were revealed at the May 10 student assembly. Total minutes read by students was 210,209.  The pledge total was $10,163! The top classroom for reading minutes was Ms. Bey’s 5th grade. The top classroom for fundraising was Ms. Vilipski’s 3rd grade. Thanks to all Cornelia students. Job well done!
